Revive Us Oh, Lord

How is your prayer life? No really? How long has it been since you enjoyed an intimate time with your heavenly father? If I have learned anything in a life time of serving God, I know, that seasons change. I have learned not to panic if every moment is not an over the rainbow moment. With that said, I am recently feeling a constant calling away to a place of quiet, a place of listening for that still small voice. I cherish those private moments. While I could sit and rattle off a list of heartless wants everyday, I refuse to do so! I take time to ponder on Gods word, His nature, His promises and how, in love, I am with His faithfulness over so many years. I take time to celebrate that He is concerned with my needs and my burdens. He is delighted that I trust Him with my cares. The greatest gift we can give God from our lives is a wholehearted trust. When we abandon our self preservation and surrender to faith in His protection and provision, He counts that to us as He did to Abraham in Hebrews 11 Hall of Faith. One of the greatest ways to do that is to release our burdens in prayer. When we lift up a need in accordance with the word of God and the promises that we are given as his children, we can see amazing answers to those prayers. Many who are lost in a world full of confusion, strife and pain need us to lift their names in faith believing that God will reveal Himself to them. We can plead the blood of Christ over their lives and bind the powers of darkness that blind and torment them. This is the season that we can see great revival of souls, but we will most definitely see first, a revival of PRAYER! Joel 2:17 also states; "Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O LORD...." (NKJV) Midnight Cry Prayer is a gathering place to promote, teach, and practice Prayer and Intersession with others who desire to seek God’s intervention in their daily lives. In the Bible we are instructed to pray for one another and to pray without ceasing. In this midnight hour we are living in, seeking God through prayer is vital. We are seeing a great movement in prayer around the world. Midnight Cry Prayer is partnered with the Kingdom News Now media ministry. KNN broadcasts many of the answered prayers that we see happening as we pray. It is an exciting time to be a part of the body of Christ! Join us and see what is impossible for man, is still possible with God!
