Scripture quotations from the King James Version of the bible are noted as KJV.

To conserve space in referencing scripture, some verses are noted but not quoted in their entirety. This is
particularly the case where a long verse is referenced, but the author desires to point to only a small portion of it. In
these cases a series of dots are substituted where parts of a verse are omitted (.........).

Use of personal pronouns: This book follows the convention of capitalization of personal pronouns where the
author is referring to deity, whether to the Father, to the Son or to the Holy Spirit. However, The Revised Standard
Version does not follow this convention (the New King James Version and New American Standard do.) Since
bible quotations are used just as they come from the RSV, personal pronouns for deity are not capitalized when a
part of such quotations.
